Her Serene Highness Princess Tatiana Radziwill died yesterday, December 19th, 2025, aged 86.

Princess Tatiana was born on August 29th, 1939, in Normandy as Tatiana Maria Renata Eugenia Elisabeth Margarete Radziwill to Prince Dominik Radziwill and Princess Eugenie of Greece and Denmark, granddaughter of George I of Greece.

Princess Tatiana fled Europe when the war started and took refuge in Saint-Tropez before relocating to South Africa. They were joined by Prince George of Greece and Princess Marie Bonaparte and later other members of the Greek royal family. Tatiana became a close friend without her life to her cousin Princess Sophia (later Queen Sophia of Spain).

She returned to France in 1945 and was educated in France and Greece. She took part in the Cruise of Kings by Queen Frederica and Paul of Greece. She attended Elizabeth II' coronation and was a bridesmaid when Princess Sophia married the later King of Spain, Juan Carlos. She als o went to the 100th anniversary celebration of the Greek monarchy. She also served as a bridesmaid for Constantine II of Greece's wedding to Anne-Marie. 

She was also a bacteriologist and nurse.

Tatiana married cardiologist Jean Henri Fruchard in 1966 in Athens. Many Greek and Danish royals attended. She has two children, Fabiola, born 1967, and Alexis, born 1969.

Her parents divorced in 1946. Prince Dominik remarried in 1947 to Lida Lacey Bloodgood and her mother remarried in 1949 to Prince Raimondo della Torre e Tasso, 3nd Duke of Castel Duino.

She was a dame of the Order of Saints Olga and Sophia.
