For Lord Foster's design plans, St. James's Park will have transformations to commemorate The Commonwealth, The late Queen, and The late Duke of Edinburgh. The Blue Bridge in St. James's Park will be taken out and the new bridge will be built separately and brought down the Thames and brought into the park in one night. The design of the bridge is based on Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara, the same tiara Elizabeth II wore on her 1947 wedding day.
